Entegra ILI Tool Operator II
Entegra LLP specializes in the in-line inspection of oil, gas, and chemical pipelines. We have designed and manufactured proprietary self-contained electromechanical machines that travel down the inside of oil and gas pipelines to proactively inspect for internal and external corrosion or other damage. An ILI Superintendent II is responsible for planning and overseeing the inspection activities. The ideal candidate will have excellent leadership qualities and demonstrated communication skills that allow him or her to take control of a project and produce results.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure safety is put first in the execution of all tasks and processes.
- Review and evaluate pipeline questionnaire, construction drawings, and as-built drawings for upcoming job. Make necessary changes to mitigate risks ensuring a safe and successful job.
- Perform the assembly and final buildout of the ILI machine prior to dispatching the tool to the job site.
- Perform QA/QC analysis on ILI tool build and testing.
- Take a lead role in the project management process, pre-job planning and liaise with the customer throughout the ILI job. This includes logistical requirements.
- Be the on-site representative for Entegra at the job site. Communicate with customers regarding job execution including safety, scheduling, operations, and run status.
- Develop, document, and communicate jobsite safety analysis plan for each job. Conduct tailgate safety meetings.
- Complete all job closing documents and reporting.
- Approve time sheets and expense reports for ILI crew.
- Train ILI crew members on all aspects of ILI operations.
- Identify opportunities for continuous improvement and cost savings.
- Performs other assigned tasks.
Knowledge and Skills:
- 2 years ILI experience
- Knowledge and application of OSHA, industry, and customer safety regulations and training requirements.
- Working knowledge of magnetic flux leakage theory and application.
- Working knowledge of pipeline liquid and gas hydraulics.
- Working knowledge of pipeline operations.
- Proficient in of Microsoft Suite (exec, word, outlook, share point, etc.).
- Strong communication skills.
- Ability to work alone and as a team depending on the job requirements.
Education:
- Minimum: High School or equivalent.
- Preferred 2-year College and/or Technical Electronic Degree.
- ASNT ILI-PQ Tool Operator Level II or greater certification - required
- DOT Drug and Alcohol Test
- Background Check
- Driver’s license with clean driving record
- Passport or ability to obtain one
- Possess or ability to obtain a TWIC card
- 80% Travel within the US. May include international travel.
- Field work may require long work days including early morning start and late evening finish
- Ability to routinely lift and carry 50 lbs. throughout the workday
- Ability to lift 100 lbs. waist high multiple times throughout the workday.
- Normally will work in shop and field which can include extreme working conditions: heat, cold, wet, etc.
