Position Summary:
This role is responsible for leading the Third-Party Risk Management Program and framework. The Manager will coordinate with business and risk partners across the company to effectively manage Third-Party risk for Third Coast Bank.
Essential Functions:
This position will be responsible for the following:
- Collaborate with the Vendor Management Program to identify and manage risk of our Third Parties in alignment with our risk appetite.
- Facilitate business review for high-risk Third Parties.
- Conduct Third-Party risk assessments and due diligence.
- Assess and track Third-Party Risk Management lifecycle risk activities, including risk assessment & due diligence, contract negotiation, ongoing monitoring, and termination.
- Provide Third-Party Risk Management guidance to vendor relationship owners and partners.
- Develop and update Third-Party Risk Management procedures to ensure alignment with Third Coast Bank policies.
- Monitor key vendor performance to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and service level agreements.
- Provide reporting and communicate and escalate issues and findings.
- Collect and track supporting documentation for audit requests.
- Lead Third-Party risk projects, initiatives, or other related tasks to meet objectives.
Education, Experience, and Skills:
- Bachelor’s degree from an accredited 4-year college or university; and more than or equal to three to five (3-5) years of Third-Party Risk Management experience in a financial institution.
- Knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications including Outlook, SharePoint, Teams, Etc.
- Knowledge of Third-Party lifecycle and Third-Party Risk Domains.
- Knowledge of SOC1 and SOC2 reports.
- Familiar with Governance Risk and Control (GRC) or Integrated Risk Management (IRM) frameworks.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to identify and associate task to overall objectives.
- Ability to communicate and establish relationships with internal and external partners.
