Position Overview
The Third-Party Risk Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and improving the global Third-Party Risk Management program (TPRM). This individual will partner closely with Due Diligence teams and across the Supply Chain organization to ensure third-party risks are assessed, evaluated, mitigated, and monitored. This role will support the centralized third-party risk operating model, and continuously improve practices and processes to build a best-in-class program. Acting as a liaison between supplier relationship owners and risk partners to guarantee third-party risk is managed for the enterprise.
Essential Duties
include but are not limited to the following:
  • Serves as a functional liaison between the Line of Business and the Lines of Defense (e.g., Due Diligence Partners). Managing the process for review, assessment, and evaluation of third-party risk inherent to supplier relationship or supplier engagement, in partnership with Due Diligence teams, on behalf of the relationship owner. Including new third-party risk to Exact Sciences and on-going monitoring based on third-party risk program.
  • Collaborates with third party risk partners internal to Exact Sciences (Privacy, Information Security, Compliance, Regulatory, Quality, Business Continuity, etc.) to ensure efficient assessment of inherent risk and residual risk scores are available for on-going supplier risk monitoring and management.
  • Builds strong and trusting relationships with Due Diligence teams and business partners; works collaboratively to achieve objectives; communicates with impact to a range of audiences.
  • Collaborates with leadership throughout the organization on third-party risk program. Reporting on areas of risk that need additional attention and aiding in strategy development to protect the enterprise.
  • Facilitates reviews and approvals of risk questionnaires, on behalf of the relationship owner, prompting risk assessment in centralized third-party risk management program. With a focus on both simple and complex risk assessments.
  • Manages escalations efficiently and provides quick resolutions to business partners and supply chain team members.
  • Provides clear context associated to areas of risk in which the organization needs to better protect against negative impact. Outlining recommendations to reduce risk in partnership with Due Diligence teams.
  • Develops and improves upon the third-party risk management monitoring and reporting process that tracks third-party risks, providing risk reports to the cross-functional Supply Chain team.
  • Coaches business partners on third-party risk management, guiding relationship owners through risk assessments in either new supplier onboarding, sourcing events, and/or contracting activities to reduce third-party risk to organization.
  • Collaborates in strategies to improve the third-party risk program, building more efficient assessment and evaluation methods and growing the centralized risk model.
  • Partners across Supply Chain team to continuously improve supplier risk management processes and policies, working towards best-in-class practices. Continuously improving risk questionnaire and assessments with S2P system (Coupa).
  • Balances strategic thinking with tactical, detailed execution while working independently, sorting through ambiguously defined problems, identifying, and facing big challenges and adjusting to sudden and frequent change.
  • Quickly develops and maintains strong relationships with internal customers.

  • Supports and complies with the company's Quality Management System policies and procedures.
  • Maintains regular and reliable attendance.

  • Ability to work designated schedule.
  • Ability to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 80% of a typical working day.
  • Ability to work on a computer and phone simultaneously.
  • Ability to use a telephone through a headset.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Engineering, Business Management or related field or Associates Degree and additional 2 years relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelor's degree.
  • 5 years of related work experience in areas such as third-party risk management, contracting, or compliance and regulatory management.
  • 2 years working experience in Supply Chain Management.
  • 1 year's working knowledge of data privacy, information security and/or other compliance related functions.
  • Experience in managing multiple concurrent tasks and changing priorities while maintaining personal effectiveness.
  • Demonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.
  • Authorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications
  • 3 years of professional industry experience.
  • CPSM, ISM, or professional procurement certification.
  • Experience with Source-to-Pay system, such as Coupa. Primarily in risk assessment programs.
  • Experience working with international suppliers.

Salary Range:
$65,000.00 - $105,000.00
The annual base salary shown is for this position located in US - WI - Madison on a full-time basis. In addition, this position is bonus eligible, and is eligible to receive company stock upon hire as well as annually.
