The Third Party Logistics (3PL) Account Manager at Touchstone is a high-energy individual who can recognize opportunities and turn both new and existing relationships into long-lasting loyal partnerships. The Account Manager will have extensive knowledge of supporting warehouse and fulfillment customers. They will understand the operational and technological aspects of a 3PL environment. The Account Manager will communicate directly with clients and prospects, understand their individual needs, and recommend products or services that maximize value. Account Managers may also assist in developing sales strategies and establishing quotas. You should be an adaptable, knowledgeable multi-tasker with strong computer and communication skills.

Successful candidates will be skilled communicators and presenters who can find the best fit between client and solution. The ideal candidate will be organized, passionate about client relations, and focused on developing customer loyalty through all interactions.

Position Responsibilities

  • Providing support for clients by learning about and satisfying their needs, while simultaneously supporting the efforts of the entire Account Management Team to which they are assigned
  • Presenting and demonstrating the value of Touchstone’s products and services to prospective buyers
  • Compiling and analyzing data to find trends
  • Developing sales strategies and setting quota
  • Weekly and Monthly customer meetings
  • Maintaining and growing a database of contact information by client
  • Building long-lasting, mutually beneficial relationships with external contacts and internal departments to create a better customer experience
  • Handling complaints and negotiations
  • Acting as a client advocate with a constant focus on developing a loyal client base

Skills and Abilities

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, project management, communications or related field
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • The drive and energy to manage multiple accounts and projects while looking for new opportunities within existing client base
  • Ability to collect, track and analyze large amounts of data
  • Adaptability and strong problem solving skills
  • Ability to build rapport and collaborate with others within the company and externally with both customers and third parties
  • Extensive product knowledge within the sales promotion/advertising specialty industry
  • Ability to understand client needs and handle the negotiation process
  • Excellent active listening skills

Touchstone has a hybrid work environment where employees work in-office Monday, Wednesday & Thursday and are able to work from home Tuesdays and Fridays. This position works best at our Fairfield, OH Fulfillment Center, where you'll have access to the inventory and returns.
