YOU MUST HAVE A Mavic 3 thermal (M3T) drone in-order to be considered. Mavic 2 Enterprise Advanced (not Dual) also considered.
ProCam Pilots, LLC is an aerial service company serving various clients nationwide. We offer data capturing services like Aerial Photos (RGB + Thermal), Aerial Video Footage, Autonomous Flights, 2D/3D Modeling, and 2D/3D Mapping.
ProCam Pilots is now looking for a certified pilot with previous experience to help deliver our clients high quality aerial services. We’re looking for drone pilots for each one of our industry teams and our general tier 1 or tier 2 team. (Real Estate, Agriculture, Utility, Energy, Construction, being the main ones)
Job Details:
- 3 thermal flights
- 2.5 acres of mapping
- Flight duration(s): > 1 hour
- Travel Pay: $0.58 per mile outside of 35 miles of the home / previous site
Recommended Equipment for Drone Operators:
- Drone with a minimum 20 megapixel camera or higher
- Drone with at least 4K (3840x2160) @ 60fps camera or higher
- DJI Mavic 3 Enterprise Thermal (NO DUAL)
- At least 4 batteries
- At least 4 SD cards of 32GBs or higher
- Drone battery car charger or ability to charge on the go
- ND Filters
- Reflective vest (orange / yellow)
- Standard Remote Controller or Smart Controller
Strong Drone Operator Candidates will be considered as follows:
- Current FAA Certified Part 107 License (required)
- Reliability and consistency. Missions must be flown and uploaded on time.
- High speed internet connection (www.speedtest.net)
- Download 20+ Mbps (Recommended but not required)
- Upload 12+ Mbps (Critical for uploading missions)
- Wired connections over Wifi is preferred
- Have experience operating drones – if you are a builder and have experience with your hands on the drone systems, that is a plus
- Has experience with mapping missions (DroneDeploy, Litchi, Pix4D, Measure)
- Won't mind being in the elements (14°F through 95°F days)
- Has PPE equipment:
- Hard Hat & Safety Goggles
- Reflective Vest (Orange or Yellow)
- Work Boots (Steel Toe preferred)
- Understands difference between RAW and compressed images
- Understands what AEB shots are and how to shoot them
- Professional and clean personal presentation for customer interaction (bathed, groomed, clean clothing, etc.)
- Appropriate work attire - long pants / clean jeans (no holes), work boots (no open toes), sun and weather protection
- Must be self-motivated to bring a better experience and deliverable to our customers
- Comfortable with computers and varying sites platforms
- Google Drive, Google Meet, Google Forms
- Time clocks
- General understanding of file upload/download
- Have a passion for Aviation/Robotics.
- Experience in the Real Estate Industry is a plus
- Experience in the Energy Industry is a plus
- Experience with Thermal Imagery is a plus
- Experience in the Oil and Gas Industry is a plus
- Experience in the Telecom/Energy Industry
- Open and flexible availability
- Reliability and consistency - missions must be flown and uploaded on time daily
- Ability to stay on your toes, problem solve on the go and get the mission completed on time.
Job specifications:
- 1099 Subcontractor Position
- Pay is received every 2 weeks (by the 1st and 15th of the month)
- Long Term Deployment Opportunities are available if you are interested

- One to six days per week (Mon-Sat)(Off Sundays)
- Flights: Three flights with possible future flights
- Contract duration(s): 2-3+ weeks
- Flight duration(s): 20-120 mins
- Compensation: $150 (Per site) 3 sites
- Travel Pay: $0.58 per mile outside of 35 miles of the home / previous site
