Purpose of Role
The Therapist is responsible for the provision of comprehensive clinical and case management services to clients and their families. This includes the provision of individual, family, group therapies, crisis intervention, assessment, planning, discharge planning, and interdisciplinary teamwork. The Therapist is responsible for formulating and implementing appropriate treatment plans for clients on their assigned caseload and for timely and satisfactory documentation of all treatment efforts.
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial evaluation, assess client's presenting problems and formulate diagnoses.
- Develop, implement and modify, as necessary, client's treatment plans.
- Maintain an active caseload providing individual, group and family therapies as needed and within area of expertise and limits of credentials; assure procurement of additional services as needed.
- Participate in continuing education activities, attend meetings and meet regularly with supervisor to exchange pertinent information and receive supervision.
- Maintain client and program records in accordance with the Department of Children and Families applicable standards and regulations.
- Maintain a high level of ethical and professional conduct regarding confidentiality.
- Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities and completing 20 annual Continuing Education Units per F.A.C. 65D-30.
- Supports Transformations mission by completing related results as needed.
- Conducts client sessions for other absent or vacationing therapists.
- Participates in one "Family Weekend" per year.
- Understand and follow all policies and procedures set forth by the Clinical Director, Executive VP(s), and CEO.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety rules, guidelines & procedures.
Professional Experience, Essential Skills, and Knowledge
- Master's Degree required
- Two years of equivalent work experience preferred
- Preferred: LMFT, LMHC, LCSW and EMDR trained and/or ART Trained
- Current or pending certification from the Florida Certification Board in a Substance Abuse related field
- All employees may be required to work before, during and/or immediately after a natural or man-made disaster
Schedule
Shift Saturday 9-1:30, Sunday 11:45- 4:15 and Monday 8:30- 4:30.
24 hours per week
Salary Range
$30.00 / Hourly
