Theology Teacher

Trinity High School, River Forest IL Trinity High School in River Forest, IL, is seeking a full-time Theology Teacher for the 2024-25 school year. The teacher is responsible for planning, instruction, activities and assessments based on a college preparatory and International Baccalaureate program. Teachers are tasked with creating an integrated instructional program that supports an inclusion-based learning approach fostering a safe environment that respects academic and cultural diversity. Additionally, teachers are expected to work together in Professional Learning Communities (PLC) with other teachers and support professionals in a collaborative manner to provide teaching strategies and methods that address a wide range of learning styles, individual needs, interests, abilities, and maturity level of students.

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS ● Able to adapt to change and react to events in a decisive manner ● Possesses professional verbal and written communication skills ● Takes initiative in problem solving independently and as a member of a team ● Understands and makes use of school technology to enhance instruction and classroom experiences ● Has experience with and proficiency of educational technology and learning management systems ● Models Christian values

Minimum Requirements: . ● Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in Theology.

Preferred: ● Certification: Illinois Professional Educator License: 9-12 ● Prior teaching experience. ● Master’s degree in a related field.

Starting Salary dependent on degree, certification and experience.

Pay: $42,971.00 - $59,912.00 per year
