Job Description
The IT Applications Intern/Co-Op is an entry level IT role with a focus on IT Business Intelligence and IT Architect tracks, responsible for implementing dashboards, enhancements, producing application flows or Current State Powerpoints, and using Windows, and Microsoft application development technologies. This role affords team members the opportunity to rotate across several IT functions and begin to determine which areas to grow their career.
Responsibilities:
· Develop reporting dashboards for business units using excel or relational backend database
· Develop data flows from the entry system to the reporting front end
· Collaborate with internal IT and business personnel to meet business objectives
· Proactively identify problems and provides solutions to management before implementing corrections
· Ensure projects meet all business, technical, and development specifications
· Perform additional responsibilities as assigned
Qualifications:
· Degree discipline in Computer Science or related field
· Completion of Sophomore year preferred.
· G.P.A 3.0 or higher
· Understanding of ChatGPT or other Generative AI technology
· Understanding of Visual C or Unity or Revit (or some programming language)
· Understanding of Tableau or Power BI (or some open source dashboarding software)
· Understanding of Microsoft Excel and/or Access
· Understanding of Databases (ex: Oracle, SQL Server)
· Excellent analytical, problem solving, communication and interpersonal skills
Rate of pay may be adjusted based on the qualifications and experience of the candidate.
