IT Business Applications Intern

Pay: $20.00 an hour, Shift: part-time 8:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. 20-30 hours a week. No relocation offered.  

Jacksons is accepting applications for an IT Business Applications Intern.

Our Experience Internships offer students the opportunity to tackle projects and to make a real impact on departmental and corporate objectives as they prepare to start their career journey. Jacksons internships usually start in June and run through mid-August.

We are looking for ambitious students who are currently enrolled at an accredited, four-year college/university or who are recent grads.  Our goal is to create a thoughtful program to challenge our interns and help them grow and develop as professionals. 

This is an in-person position located at Jacksons Store Support Center in Meridian, Idaho.  

What will I do as a IT Business Applications Intern?

• Manage business-critical software applications.
• Work in a cross functional IT project/vendor management team
• Focus on IT best practices and functional knowledge on operating procedures

The intern will help build a talent pipeline, tackle key projects, and bring a fresh perspective to the ERP applications team.

You will be a great fit for this internship if you have:

• Completed your sophomore year by the start of the internship.
• Currently enrolled at an accredited college/university and you are seeking a degree related to this internship.
• Basic IT enterprise knowledge
• Strong desire to learn complex environments, with appropriate guidance.
• General computers skills to use and navigate various software required.
• Experience in or willing to learn about ERP applications.
• Effective communication and a level of comfort sharing information with various levels of the organization.
• A positive "can do" attitude to meet the needs of the business.
