Job Introduction

Job Summary

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Answer incoming calls from consumers including the general public, prospective enrollees and people assisting enrollees or acting on their behalf in accordance with all performance standards, policy and procedures, and protocols including but not limited to the confidentiality and privacy policies.
- Track and document all inquiries using the applicable systems.
- Complete associated tasks according to the established guidelines.
- Track and document all inquiries using the applicable systems.
- Meet Quality Assurance (QA) and other key performance metrics.
- Facilitate the fulfillment of caller requests for materials via mail, email, or download.
- Transfer/refer consumers to appropriate entities according to the established guidelines.
- Escalate calls or issues to the appropriate designated staff for resolution as needed.
- Facilitate translation services for non-English speaking callers according to procedures.
- Attend meetings and trainings as requested and maintain up-to-date knowledge of all programs and systems.

Minimum Requirements:
- High School diploma or equivalent with 0 - 1 years of experience.

Job Title:CSR 1 - Call Center Representative

Number of open positions: 3 (Monolingual and/or Bilingual)

Location: Remote - TX VSS Project Only

Internal/External: Internal & External

Monolingual Starting Pay Rate: $15.00 - Hourly

Bilingual Starting Pay Rate: $16.00 - Hourly

Effective Start Date: Friday June 23, 2023

Internal/External Job Requirements:

  • Must have a HSD Diploma or Completed GED (Must provide verification)
  • Must pass Criminal and Education Background
  • Must pass Fingerprint Background
  • External candidates must live in the San Antonio area (No more than 1 hour away or no more than 40 miles away from the site)
  • Must provide 2 forms of current/valid (non-expired) i9 documentation (Such as, but not limited to Driver's License, State ID, Birth Certificate, Passport)
  • Bilingual preferred, but not required.
  • Bilingual Assessment is required for Bilingual Applicants

  • Position is open to all Tx ES Sites Only (Athens, Edinburg and San Antonio. San Antonio preferred)
  • No active DAs above a verbal warning
  • 0 HIPAA errors in last 6 months
  • No higher than a Verbal Warning for attendance in the last 6 months
  • Must be meeting adherence for the last 6 months
  • Must have a QC score of 93% or above
  • Must be in current position 6 months

Pay Transparency

Maximus compensation is based on various factors including but not limited to job location, a candidate's education, training, experience, expected quality and quantity of work, required travel (if any), external market and internal value analysis including seniority and merit systems, as well as internal pay alignment. Annual salary is just one component of Maximus's total compensation package. Other rewards may include short- and long-term incentives as well as program-specific awards. Compensation ranges may differ based on contract value but will be commensurate with job duties and relevant work experience.
