Testing Solutions Engineer

As a Testing Solutions Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our software products, collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance testing processes.

Responsibilities:

Test Planning and Strategy:

Develop and implement comprehensive test plans and strategies for software projects.

Collaborate with product managers and developers to understand project requirements.

Test Automation:

Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for functional, regression, and performance testing.

Identify opportunities for test automation and implement solutions to increase efficiency.

Manual Testing:

Conduct manual testing when necessary, ensuring thorough coverage of test cases.

Execute test scenarios and document results, providing feedback to development teams.

Tool Selection and Integration:

Evaluate and select testing tools and frameworks to enhance the testing process.

Integrate testing tools with the development environment and continuous integration pipelines.

Defect Tracking:

Identify and document software defects, working closely with developers to facilitate resolution.

Monitor defect resolution progress and verify fixes.

Performance Testing:

Conduct performance testing to assess system scalability, reliability, and responsiveness.

Analyze performance test results and provide recommendations for optimization.

Collaboration:

Work closely with development, quality assurance, and product management teams to ensure testing aligns with project goals.

Participate in agile development processes and contribute to sprint planning.

Continuous Improvement:

Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement within the testing lifecycle.

Stay informed about industry best practices and emerging testing methodologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

Proven experience as a Testing Solutions Engineer or in a similar role.

Proficiency in test automation tools and frameworks.

Strong understanding of software testing methodologies and best practices.

Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $31.00 - $35.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
