This role is instrumental in building a comprehensive U.S.-based product testing programme for both footwear and apparel, in collaboration with Fila's FAST sports science center in Korea.

Testing Manager - Fila Performance Apparel and Footwear

This role is instrumental in building a comprehensive U.S.-based product testing programme for both footwear and apparel, in collaboration with Fila's FAST sports science center in Korea.
Hybrid: Four (4) days per week in-office, One (1) day remote
Operational Testing:
- Design and manage a U.S.-based testing programme that covers both footwear and apparel, aligning with the work of the Fila FAST sports science center in Korea.
- Conduct product benchmarking studies across both categories.
- Administer athlete & consumer testing to measure performance and durability under professional conditions.
Data Collection and Analysis:
- Design and implement consumer surveys for both footwear and apparel following industry-standard methodologies.
- Use video and other data collection tools to capture product in the field.
- Analyze survey and test data using statistical software & techniques
- Store all data securely and systematically within Fila’s data management systems.
Tactical Planning:
- Develop a strategic plan for testing that aligns with Fila’s overall business objectives.
- Build a network of athletes, consumers, and academic partners for product testing and validation.
Presentation and Reporting:
- Create detailed reports, summarizing findings and recommending actions for product improvement.
- Present insights to key internal teams such as Product Design, Product Development, and Consumer Creation.
- Actively participate in Performance Line Review Meetings to discuss and validate test results.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Strong analytical and methodical problem-solving skills.
- Must have a background in sports science or sports technology.

Qualifications:- College or university degree in Sports Science or related field.
- Demonstrable passion for sport and fashion.
Salary Range: $60,000 - 70,000
At FILA USA, actual compensation within that range will be dependent upon the individual’s skills, experience, and qualifications.
