Hours: (6:30am - 3:00pm)
Sign On Bonus: $3,000

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Utilize the CMM to qualify the program and ensure parts inspected are dimensionally conforming
  • Follow Quality Procedures for Receiving Inspection, In-Process, Final and Source Inspection Processes to ensure compliance of part dimensions on the CMM prior to acceptance
  • Select CMM measurement strategies and techniques to maximize repeatability and reproducibility of dimensional parameters
  • Perform various inspections using inspection hand tools and equipment
  • Identify out-of-tolerance conditions and report them
  • Ability to create, develop, edit, and implement new CMM programs on complex parts
  • Experience and strong programming knowledge using PC-DMIS software

Preferred Qualifications
  • Brown & Sharpe CMM programming experience
  • Experience with ASME Y14.5, 2009 and 2018
  • Proficient using models and drawings to write programs
  • Advanced GD&T knowledge and experience
  • Familiarity with Smart Profile and PCDMIS

Qualifications/Experience Needed:
  • Must be a U.S. Person/Permanent Resident "Green Card" holder
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to work under minimal supervision.
  • Ability to read & interpret detail prints and drawings
  • Good mathematical 3-dimensional spatial and skills
  • Ability to distinguish and differentiate contrast between colors
  • Must be able to fluently read and write English
  • Capable of using all required trade tools, (i.e. optical comparator, calipers, micrometers, surface profilometer, gauge blocks, pin gauge, height gages, ring gages, go/no go gages, check fixtures etc.) to inspect parts for accuracy.
  • Must be able to follow instructions and work effectively, both independently and as a member of a team
  • Ability to read and interpret GD&T symbols and dimensional tolerances on drawings

Preferred Education/Experience
  • 2 year or 4 year degree
  • Minimum of 4 years of experience as a CMM Programmer with a minimum of 8 years of experience as a Quality Inspector
