Mercury is an approved company for the SkillBridge Program under Dept. of Defense Instruction 1322.29. This program is an opportunity for transitioning service members to gain valuable civilian work experience through an individual internship during their last6 months of service, for up to180 days. Mercury SkillBridge is open to all ranks and experience levels provided they meet the minimum requirements for the position listed below. In this role, you have the opportunity to
Work in a state-of-the-art facility as a vital member of our production team. You will Test products against defined test procedures for all products and work closely with engineering to assure all defects are addressed and fixed in a timely manner. As a Test Operator, you will be in charge of running different tests on various components and documenting test data. This is a 2nd Shift opportunity from 2:00pm - 10:30pm M-F.
You are responsible for
  • Entering data (manual key entry) in to an excel based test data sheet.
  • Maintaining a daily log of completed and in queue items.
  • Testing RF components using lab equipment that has been configured by Test Engineering
  • Performing tests on products where training has been completed
  • Compiling accurate and detailed test data
  • Documenting tested hardware and prepares test data for shipment.
  • Instilling high quality standards on all products processed to shipping.
  • Operating automatic and semi-automatic test stations.
  • Performing mechanical assembly when needed.
  • Notifying Test Engineering and Quality of equipment that is within 30 days of calibration.
  • Other duties as assigned

An exciting and fast-growing Test team supporting our Manufacturing Business Unit based out of Oxnard, CA. You will be integral in the support our troops and the national defense of our country through ensuring that all parts that we supply are of the highest quality and delivered on time. Required Qualifications:
  • 0-3 years experience in electronics testing
  • Must work overtime as needed and weekends (Saturday)
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Able to understand and speak English
  • Basic MS Office Suite Skills
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Full-Time Equivalent Annual Salary Range: $32,240 - $48,000 for a Non-Technical Specialist at Oxnard CA USA for Non SkillBridge applicants.
