Be a part of the Supply Chain/Product Industrialization Engineering team. This dynamic team specifies, designs, implements tests for manufacturability, sustainability, serviceability for the electrical and mechanical hardware on which our Ultrasound systems are based.
You are responsible for
· Develop and support Production electrical tests and test equipment and supporting software and protocols/procedures to provide a traceable test solution for the product.
· Support partner relationships for externally designed hardware
· Document development efforts, including requirements, , specifications, plans, reviews, verification test procedures, and reports.
· Use knowledge of hardware design processes, software/firmware development to solve problems such as design for durability/reliability and design for global manufacture and service.
· Provide support to production lines that assemble high tech equipment, in federally regulated environments.
· Investigate and determine root cause of product issues for production products and determine appropriate resolution.
· Engage in product development and introduction efforts as a technical contributor on the Product Industrialization EE team. This includes providing DFx (Design for Manufacturability, Testability, Reliability, and Serviceability) input into product requirements, PCBA design, Product test planning, producing technical solutions to meet the requirements, and performing liaison engineering activities as required to introduce products into a factory: in-house or at a partner. · Give input to the specification, design and development of Ultrasound products for the hospital and mobile markets.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
· The ideal candidate for this position will have a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering. This candidate must be eager to learn and excited to be part of a global design team and supply chain.
· BSEE or Computer Engineering Degree
· 2+ years on the job (full time) in an Engineering role a must.
· Knowledge of basic programming, C#, XML, Windows scripting
· Prefer knowledge of manufacturing environment, especially pertaining to circuit boards
· Prefer Ultrasound/Medical Device experience.
· Methodical, high attention to detail, and effective troubleshooting/problem solving skills
· Self-motivated and able to learn quickly from others, recognize problems and take corrective action when appropriate
· Excellent writing and verbal communication skills
· A team player who proactively seeks out expertise and advice from others.

Pay: From $55.00 per hour
