We are looking for a Spacecraft Assembly, Integration &Test Engineer!

Pay: $105,000 - $156,000 DOE

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• Leads engineering efforts in planning and execution of projects requiring mechanical system development, focused on the assembly, integration and testing of spacecraft and/or complex space and launch systems
• Leads test planning and execution activities, data collection and reduction, data analysis, and product development on a multi-discipline team to provide total integrated support to multiple programs

• Develops and implements detailed assembly and test procedures, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance with quality standards as required
• Identifies, analyzes, and mitigates technical risks and issues throughout the AI&T process.

• Provides mentorship and development oversight of junior engineers

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• B.S. or M.S. Degree in Mechanical or Aerospace Engineering
• Typically possesses 6+ years aerospace experience, with 3+ years of experience building, integrating, and testing complex spacecraft or multi-disciplinary space & launch systems
• Strong understanding of spacecraft systems and experience working in cleanroom conditions
• Self-motivated, able to multi-task, work independently on assignments with minimal oversight or direction, quality-oriented and safety conscious
• Demonstrated ability to develop, plan and execute projects
• Must be a U.S. citizen and hold or be able to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance
