Test Engineer 2 R&D

Genesis10 is seeking a Test Engineer 2 R&D for a leading company in San Diego, CA. This role will be responsible for SDK Automation Development for iOS or Android Mobile Applications. This is a 1-year, REMOTE contract role. Candidates remote in California preferred.
Candidates must be a USC or Green Card Holder and able to work on a W2 basis with Genesis10
This role pays $55-60/HR W2 depending on experience.
Job Duties:

• Develop and maintains SDK test automation for Mobile Apps
• Develop and maintains Android and/or iOS Mobile App Test Tools
• Develop and maintains CI/CD for SDK test suite
• Document software verification test protocols and create requirements traceability matrices which demonstrate test coverage of all features of SDK product
• Execute software verification plans and test protocols by following the project schedule
• Record and track issues in the bug tracking system, and analyze failures and collaborate with development teams to ensure root cause is investigated
• Participate in software requirements, design, code and test reviews
• Run regression analysis and run regression test accordingly to the software changes.
• Follow internal software development, cybersecurity, and validation procedures that comply with medical and security regulations

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3-5 years of Software Development or Software Mobile App Development related experience
• Proven history of design, development, implementation, and maintenance of API test automation to test the functional specifications/requirements and performance of software and systems
• Excellent skills with Java and Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android OS) programming language and the ability to integrate them in large scale projects
• Experience with Appium, XCUITest, xCode are a plus.
• High degree of diligence in coding, testing, debugging, documentation, and attention to detail
• Previous CI/CD implementation experience and knowledge of SDLC
• Proficient with Object Oriented Language and Source Control Tool
• Excellent communication and influence skills.
• Ability to communicate (verbal and writing) with engineers, management as well as across the organization
  Proficient with software tools for requirements management, test case management, and engineering analysis
