Join our awesome Test Analyst team and truly help us automate our processes! Work across functional and non-functional testing, you'll also get involved in manual and automated testing using industry standard testing tools. Be the advocate of quality, have a thorough understanding of the importance of testing and advise on best testing practice.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with the delivery team in early requirement evaluations during refinement sessions to minimize errors in later stages of the SDLC
• Design and develop appropriate tests for both functional and non-functional aspects, including system, integration, regression, and PVT
• Prioritize tests and identify test data to support test conditions and cases
• Establish traceability between requirements, test conditions, and test cases
• Work collaboratively with test analysis, design, and execution to ensure the product is complete and functions as expected by users and stakeholders
• Conduct both manual and automated testing using industry-standard tools
• Document, manage, and retest defects, providing constructive, clear, and informative information. Follow through on all defects until resolution and closure
• Ensure the appropriate use of testing tools to deliver effective and efficient testing outcomes
• Provide realistic estimates for both manual and automation testing activities
• Update regression and PVT tests to align with changes to the application
• Define, create, and maintain automated tests to meet software release deliverables and project testing requirements.
• Collaborate with development teams across the group to ensure a consistent and inclusive approach to testing, automation, and the use of testing tools
• Facilitate and participate in showcases and other shared learning opportunities to enhance and share skills with team members
• Actively engage in retrospective sessions, advocating for improved processes and ways of working, and follow up on action items
• Actively plan and contribute to scrum and project meetings, including huddles, sprint planning, sprint refinements, and project meetings

What you'll need to succeed:

• Hold relevant tertiary qualifications and an ISTQB certification in Software Testing
• Accumulate 3-5 years of recent experience in testing various aspects, including data warehouses, data migration, and ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes
• Demonstrate extensive experience as a functional Test Analyst, covering system testing, integration testing, and regression testing.
• Showcase proficiency in documenting test cases and test steps using test management tools
• Exhibit a thorough understanding of risk-aware testing principles and their application to minimize testing efforts without compromising quality
• Demonstrate the ability to work independently, managing workload efficiently to meet deadlines
• Previous experience in testing software applications and systems within the wealth management/finance industry will be highly regarded
• Preferred experience in ETL or data transformations, along with expertise in automating data validations
• Familiarity with SDLC, TDLC, and CICD processes is essential
• Proven experience in testing web applications of varying size and complexity
• Proficient in API testing
• Ability and experience in writing complex queries in Mongo and SQL for data validation and troubleshooting
• Background in working with Agile development teams
• Familiarity with Agile Tools such as Azure Dev Ops and Confluence
• Display a highly detailed and problem-solving mindset, emphasizing a sense of ownership
• Proficiency in programming languages and scripting (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript)
