Position Overview

If you are a successful sales professional who has experience finding new accounts and building existing accounts in a B2B consultative selling environment this is a great fit for you! You will manage the full sales cycle from prospecting to closing (new accounts) and identifying areas for providing additional value (existing accounts). As well as orchestrating sales via channel partners. This job will report to a Territory Sales manager based in Denver, CO.
Responsibilities
  • B2B Territory Sales with focus on prospecting, presenting, and selling complex software products and services to small and medium-sized business (SMB) And Enterprise customers, thereby generating net new revenue while growing existing revenue. This is an individually-contributing sales position that requires a high activity sales person
  • Uncover and Understand customer requirements to recommend and sell Autodesk product or industry solutions
  • Promote and Educate - both Customers and Channel Partners- Selling software as a Service in a subscription-based software license model
  • Expand opportunities and increase average deal sizes by up-selling and cross-selling a loved portfolio of Autodesk products
  • Demonstrate Company values, maintain a positive open demeanor, encourage different points of view, contribute positively to team and colleagues by fostering collaboration
  • Account planning (including account profiling, account positioning strategy, customer needs analysis, business justifications, sales opportunity development, service improvement planning, and long-range account management strategies
  • This position is primarily remote. However, in office days are recommended. Therefore, being within a commutable distance of our Denver office is required. You can expect 3-4 in office days per month, with flexibility kept in mind

Minimum Qualifications
  • 3-5+ years' quota-carrying sales experience selling complex technology solutions- SaaS experience preferred
  • Previous B2B Sales experience selling to SMB or Enterprise Accounts
  • Previous experience using Salesforce.com
  • Demonstrated experience with success: consistently exceeding quota in a structured, disciplined, sales environment that includes strategic and collaborative/team selling
  • Experience selling via channel partners
  • Experience accurately forecasting and reporting on territory /account activity
  • A relentless focus on learning our industries so that you can consistently blow out your numbers
  • Ability to build strong relationships for business planning with each partner and with the partner management team to extend the impact of channel partners on your sales
  • Ability to read, write and understand English

Preferred Qualifications
  • Education Level: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience preferred
  • Experience using consultative sales methodology techniques like Challenger Selling is advantageous

Salary transparency
Salary is one part of Autodesk's competitive compensation package. For U.S.-based sales roles, we expect a starting On-Target Earnings (OTE) between $94,900 and $137,280. OTE is comprised of base salary plus commission target for sales roles. Offers are based on the candidate's experience and geographic location and may exceed this range. In addition to base salaries and/or OTE for sales roles, we also have a significant emphasis on annual cash bonuses, stock grants, and a comprehensive benefits package.
