Bobcat of Houston - Jersey Village is seeking a Territory Sales Representative. As a Territory Sales Rep, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with existing and potential customers, promoting our product offerings, and driving sales growth. Responsibilities
- Actively develop/maintain customer relationships by visiting construction sites, offices, and individual owner/operator sites within your area of operation (AO).
- Qualifies and follows up on all in-person, phone, and Core web leads assigned to their Area of Operation (AO).
- Create a personalized customer service relationship with new and existing customers.
- Develop a strong understanding of all customer segments residing within your AO.
- Become a trusted partner to all new and existing customers by providing solutions and technical sales assistance.
- Educate decision makers on the benefits of using our equipment and emphasize the advantages of working with Bobcat of Houston.
- Promote all Bobcat products; demonstrate equipment capabilities and grow sales and market presence.
- Maintain familiarity with new products developed by Bobcat, other suppliers, and competitors.
- Keep management informed of significant developments in the territory, including lost sales.
- Use company-approved technology and programs to maintain CRM of customer visits, customers calling schedule, and sales pipeline.
- Organizational ability to schedule, follow-up and meet deadlines.
- Attend all sales meetings, trainings and trade shows as required.
Duties
- Customer Relationships and Territory Development:
- Qualifies and follows up on all leads and sales opportunities.
- Identify customer’s application and assess their needs.
- Enter all pertinent information into Salesforce and proceed with sales process.
- Product salesperson for compact track loaders, mini excavators, skid steer loaders, attachments, etc. in assigned branch.
- Sales Reporting and Sales Process Management
- Qualify and actively pursue all leads and/or follow up in assigned AO as needed.
- Responsible for loading, hauling, and unloading customer equipment. Arrange customer unit pick up and/or delivery as needed.
- Monitor and communicate all customer needs with the other departments within the branch to ensure an exceptional customer experience.
- Follows up on UCC-1 filings.
- Verify all lost sales reports are completed in Bobcat Salesforce.
- Verify paperwork for sales orders is correct before submission to billing.
- Verify all after sales reporting is done. (Delivery Reports, Extended Warranty Application etc.…)
Qualifications
- Bilingual: Able to conduct business conversations in both English and Spanish
- Excellent customer relations skills.
- Strong communications skills with a strong work ethic with a high sense of urgency.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task often.
- A team player with the drive to elevate the team’s performance.
- A good working knowledge of sales techniques and methodologies.
- Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office products, CRM experience a plus.
- Ability to quickly acquire and maintain product knowledge (powered industrial and/or agricultural equipment)
- Familiar with and able to operate compact construction equipment.
- 4-year degree preferred or 2-year degree with equivalent experience in the industry.
Physical Requirements
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to operate construction equipment.
- Occasionally lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 50-100 pounds and/or frequently lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 20-50 pounds and/or continuous lifting, carrying, pushing or pulling 10-20 pounds
- Regularly required to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, grasp or pull and lift objects. Occasionally required to sit, climb, balance, kneel, stoop, couch, and crawl
- Consistently exposed to outside weather conditions, fumes, and loud noise.
