ESSENTIAL JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Sales and Territory Management:
- Develop and implement sales strategies for both existing and new customers, aligning with seasonal and annual sales objectives.
- Consistently achieve or surpass monthly, quarterly, seasonal, and annual sales targets.
- Regularly engage with designated territory accounts, providing product training, marketing support, and sales assistance to cultivate mutually beneficial relationships.
- Identify and secure new customer accounts within the assigned territories.
- Collaborate with fellow Territory Managers and the President to formulate effective strategies, leveraging the "Thru the Store" sales presentation approach.
- Implement and oversee the sales pipeline using the established Proven Sales Process.
- Create and manage displays and merchandising at each customer store location.
- Develop a strategic direction for key accounts within the territory.
- Formulate a comprehensive market and travel plan for each geographic metro area/major market.
- Pursue continuous improvement in technical expertise and product knowledge, actively learning about new products and effectively promoting them to customer accounts.
- Actively participate as a key contributor in sales meetings, trade shows, and presentations for key accounts (JCK, IJO, RJO).
- Maintain ongoing and direct communication on our products and the competitive landscape within each store/market.
- Monitor competitive activities closely and regularly communicate competitive intelligence to the sales, marketing, and product development teams.

- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Preferably has jewelry product knowledge/experience, but it's not mandatory.
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
- 5-10 years' experience in jewelry or general retail / on-the-road sales.
- Bachelor's degree a plus.
- The level of travel required is substantial (75%); Average is 3 of 4 weeks per month - trade shows, and on-the road customer visits.
