Open Position Overview:Territory Business Manager
Cabinetry by Karman is a leading manufacturer of fine kitchen and bath furniture. Karman has been leading the way in regional cabinet sales to a strong dealer base for nearly 60 years. We are seeking an ambitious and experienced Territory Business Manager for our California Territory to help grow market share among the kitchen and bath dealerships in the state and develop new business with a focus on prospecting for new partners. A successful Business Manager at Karman will bring their former cabinet experience together with a consultative and business management approach to the job, where they can clearly see how to grow volume at profitable levels. This position will focus on hitting specific targets related to: Revenue, Gross Profits, Product Mix, Design, Pricing and Training techniques.
Responsibilities:
· Serve as the business leader for your territory. Be visible; develop a strong network of potential customers and work to understand competitors in the area.
· Work with the VP-Sales & Marketing to source and develop new leads.
· Work closely with VP-Sales & Marketing to develop business plans that lead to successful and profitable growth.
· Work closely with each dealer partner to develop their individual plan to accomplish quantifiable and attainable goals.
· Prepare status reports and presentations to management as needed working with CRM as the primary communication and reporting tool.
· Work closely with Marketing to develop and coordinate roll-out strategies of new initiatives and products.
· Understand and articulate the Karman Value Proposition and be able to mold this around the customer or prospect.
· Understand your competitive environment thoroughly, assisting the rest of the company in understanding market conditions.
· Consistently hit or exceed mutually agreed-upon goals.
Qualifications:
· Proven leadership skills.

· Proven ability to operate under pressure.
· Strong oral and written communication skills.
· Technical aptitude with computer.
· Thorough working knowledge of Outlook, Excel, and similar common office programs.
· Thorough working knowledge of design programs such as 20-20, ProKitchen and various CAD programs
· We find that the best salespeople have significantly higher levels of energy, drive, and focus than most of their peers. 75% territory travel expected.
Experience Requirement:
· Minimum five years in Cabinet Sales.
· Proven track record in the Building Products industry, selling to dealers, designers, and owners.
· Outstanding references regarding your character, competence, and ability to communicate effectively.
· Though not a requirement, we find that those with a college degree are typically a better fit for this role.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
