Tenant / Concessions Coordinator

R.M. Chin & Associates, Inc. (R.M. Chin) is seeking a dedicated Tenant / Concessions Coordinator to assist coordinate retail and food / beverage projects on behalf of the master concessionaire. The ideal candidate is highly effective at leading field teams to successful project completion, representing project and program owners from project inception thru completion, and maintaining and cultivating professional relationships with all stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead coordination efforts to successful completion, on time and within budget, including:
- Organizing, scheduling, and leading design and meetings
- Reading and interpreting complex contract documents
- Advising on project scopes as needed
- Budget and schedule management
- Facilitating agency coordination and networking including American Airlines and the PANYNJ.
- Drafting responses to contractors’ correspondence as required
- Preparing reports for daily and weekly activities
- Overseeing QA/QC protocol
Qualification Requirements:
- Education – Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, or highly-related discipline
- Experience – 4+ years
- Comprehensive knowledge of construction means and methods
- Familiarity with coordinating multiple contractors, tenants and Port Authority.
- Previous experience managing multiple construction projects
- Strong issues and change management skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Candidate must demonstrate a willingness to acquire new responsibilities and skills, and work in a team environment.
