Temporary Sourcing Associate

Your role at Tumi:
The Temporary Sourcing Associate will support the Sourcing team with operational tasks. This includes issuing and tracking global purchase orders, assisting with the retail collateral development process and ordering as well as special projects as needed. The Temporary Sourcing Associate will need to work with cross functional partners both in the NJ and NY offices as well as the Asia offices.
This position requires interaction with cross functional partners within Tumi -Product Management, Product Planning, Marketing, Quality Assurance, Traffic / Import as well as the overseas Sourcing team. It will also require communication with outside vendors. Main tasks will include:
• Issue and track production POs. Alert management on potential delays and update SAP accordingly
• Review monthly replenishment POs to ensure that all orders are placed based on financial approval.
• Work closely with Corporate Merchandising Team on orders and deliveries.
• Track shipments and delivery of raw materials to support production plans.
• Issue Purchase Requisitions as needed.
• Tracer Tag Priority Report
• Assist with retail collateral - placing and tracking Pos, sample development and quoting process.
• Distribute wear tests and provide wear test survey result summaries.
We're excited if you have:
  • Excellent communication skills with strong attention to detail
  • Proficient in MS Office with a focus in Excel. SAP and/or Power BI experience would be a plus.
  • Strong time management skills. Able to handle several projects at once while working in a fast-paced environment.
