JOB SUMMARY
Performs general clerical and reception services to program administrative staff. Provides customer service and office support both in person and over the phone.
SCHEDULE DETAILS REGARDING THIS POSITION
Schedule: Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. However, exact hours and days of the week may be adjusted; weekly hours will not exceed 20 per week. This position is not remote, it requires employee to work in person at the division's admin office.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
One (1) year of relevant clerical or general office experience dealing with the public. Must be proficient with word processing and spreadsheet software.
Due to the nature of this position, the successful applicant must pass a required pre-employment background check and subsequent mandatory background checks in accordance with current County Human Resources policy requirements.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
Greets and acknowledges all customers either by phone or in-person.- Gives general information and assistance on aspects of division
- Acts as receptionist. Receives and screens customer telephone
- Receives, distributes and routes incoming and outgoing
- Operates computers, printer, copier, and fax
- Types staff meeting minutes, distributes agendas, and advises staff of meeting date, time, and
- Types correspondence, prepares reports, forms, and specialized
- Performs office support activities, receives, sorts, and distributes mail; orders office supplies; performs inventory of center and ensures control of supplies.
