Job Title: Temporary Accountant
Location: Michigamme, MI
Pay: $35.00 - $40.00 per Hour
What’s the Job?
- Utilize Quickbooks to set up processes for future success in office.
- Work with staff to understand financial information and summarize information and processes for staff to carry on duties.
- Prepare detailed reports on audit findings.
- Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls, duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with laws, regulations, and management policies.
- Inspect account books and accounting systems for efficiency, effectiveness, and use of accepted accounting procedures to record transactions.
​​​​​​​- Supervise auditing of establishments, and determine scope of investigation required.
What’s Needed?
- CPA or Accounting Degree required.
- Full time for 4 weeks or part time for 6 weeks, however long it takes to thoroughly review financial details and set up this small organization for success moving forward.
- M-TH or M-F 9am-4pm or 9am-5pm, 32-40 hours per week depending on candidate preference.
- Previous administrative assistance experience preferred.
- Knowledge of applicable software applications.
- Knowledge of clerical and administrative procedures.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
