Who You Are:
Dependable, team player, strong leader, good communication skills, attention to detail.
What You Will Be Doing:
- Operates furnace to heat treat glass to the specification ordered by the customer.
- Programs CNC equipment by entering instructions, including zero and reference points; setting tool registers, offsets, compensation, and conditional switches; calculating requirements, including basic math, geometry, and trigonometry; proving part programs.
- Sets up CNC equipment by installing and adjusting tools and attachments; verifies settings by measuring positions.
- Maintains equipment by completing preventative maintenance requirements.
Skills You Bring:
- One year of previous work experience in manufacturing preferred.
- Prior CNC experience
- Must be able to lift 75 lbs. unassisted & 150 lbs. with assistance.
- Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to read, understand, and communicate paperwork and labels
- Ability to read and interpret basic mathematical measurements and effectively use a tape measure
