I am currently sourcing for a Dermatology experienced Medical Assistant to join our team! This is for a Dermatology Specialty practice!
MOHs experience preferred, not required.
Qualifications:
- Team player.
- Punctual.
- Must have experience with both back and front office duties!!
- Previous dermatology or plastics experience.
Responsibilities:
- Phone triage to access patient needs when scheduling appointments and tests.
- Order lab tests and/or perform phlebotomy.
- Check vitals.
- Injections/blood draws.
- Clean and stock exam rooms.
- Review patient medical records for accuracy and completeness.
- Refill prescriptions.
- Assist physician in exam room.
- Maintain and promote HIPAA and OSHA compliance.
- Other assigned duties as needed.
Requirements:
- Completion of approved Medical Assistant training program with proof of current certification.
- Must have a high school diploma or a GED.
- Must have a minimum of 1-2 years recent on the job experience.
- Float between Lewisville and travel to Allen and possibly McKinney.
