Cross County Savings Bank is a local, FDIC-insured mutual savings bank that was originally founded in 1888. Since such time, we have gone through various name changes, but our mission has remained the same… to make a difference in the lives of our local customers and businesses and in the overall betterment of our community.
Cross County Savings Bank was founded on this principle. From its origin, the founder’s mission was to meet the needs of the local community during the late 1800s. We were formed, as a mutual savings bank owned by our depositors, to provide a place for all members of our local area to keep and grow their finances, and obtain loans, when most other banks at that time catered primarily to the needs of corporations and wealthy individuals.
We have remained dedicated to this objective throughout our 125+ years as a financial institution. Our ability to withstand a series of economic downturns in the US economy, including the Great Depression and recent recession, is a testament to our ability to endure and overcome adversity. Summary:

Monitors the daily customer service and sales related activities of the teller staff, ensuring accuracy, integrity and security of Bank records and assets associated with teller operations in the Branch. When required will monitor and report on the sales referral activity of the branch teller staff. To accept and process all customer transactions courteously, accurately and efficiently.

• Process teller related transactions in a timely manner while interacting with customers in a positive and professional manner.
• Exercise prudent judgment within established guidelines in key areas such as cash management, customer identification, transaction processing and authorization and teller staff supervision.
• Maintain operational and/or supervisory control over branch cash, negotiable item inventories (e.g., teller’s checks, money orders, American Express etc.) and supervises record maintenance and monthly audit compliance among the teller staff.
• Train tellers in daily back up functions: Branch proof, ATM proof, check and daily work scanning, BSA requirements
• Assist with staff scheduling, monthly audits, customer inquiries and resolves problems within limitations.
• Prepare daily, monthly, quarterly reports as required by branch management.
• Perform CSR functions as necessary.
• Investigate teller differences

Education Level:

• High school diploma or GED required (Bachelor's degree or higher a plus)

Knowledge and Experience:

• One to two years related experience required
• Proficient in Computer Skills such as Word, Access, Outlook and Excel

Pay: $19.00 - $23.00 per hour
