What You'll Do:
  • As needed, conducts all member transactions in an efficient and accurate manner, while complying with established policies and procedures, and applicable federal and state regulations.
    • Reconciles cash and negotiable items to meet established balancing procedures.
  • Ensures that all requirements for fully servicing member requests in the teller areas are in place, to include but not limited to appropriate staffing, proper cash management, and communicating information to staff effectively and in a timely manner.
    • Responsible for ensuring all control and security measures are in place and adhered to accordingly.
    • Ensures teller staff operates consistently within Robins Financial policies and procedures, state and federal laws and NCUA regulations to include favorable internal and external audits.
    • Manages branch cash, to include placing orders and shipments, servicing and balancing cash dispense machines, and balancing the branch cash daily.
    • Responsible for the timely and accurate completion of the Quarterly Self Audit to include: total branch cash, teller boxes, cash dispense machines (if applicable) and negotiable items such as corporate checks, traveler's checks and money orders.
    • To ensure proper staffing, create and approve employee schedules, approve leave requests and authorizes overtime.
  • In a supervisory role, providing on-the-job training, coaching and instruction to tellers in a professional and accurate manner.
    • Ensures that branch runs efficiently in absence of both Manager and Assistant Branch Manager.
    • Makes sound decisions and is able to resolve problems effectively, using independent judgment and authority. Ensures decisions made are congruent with the goals of the credit union, using established policies and procedures.
    • Ensures that additional products and services are provided to members to meet or exceed cross-sell goals and increase member product penetration.
    • Directs and coordinates teller staff to ensure WOW Member Experience service standards are achieved by promoting a positive member service culture.
    • Demonstrates teamwork by exhibiting the following: contributing to team effort, initiative, dependability, positive attitude, good attendance, tact, and diplomacy.
    • Communicates on a timely basis with management: escalated member or employee issues, coordinate goals and objectives, or provide feedback from tellers.

Requirements
What You Need To Succeed: (qualifications/experience/certifications, etc.)
  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2 years progressive experience in a retail branch location, including performing teller duties
  • 1 year leadership or supervisory level experience

Knowledge and Job Performance Requirements:
  • High-Level knowledge of teller policies and procedures, to include compliance requirements.
  • Strong knowledge of Robins Financial products and services.
  • Skills: Excellent customer service skills; strong organizational skills; ability to coach sales skills; excellent verbal and written communication skills; coaching and leadership skills; computer skills (i.e., Microsoft Office); ability to manage workloads; ability to make sound decisions; ability to foresee problems and make appropriate corrections.
