Teller (Part-Time)

We want to add a part-time Teller to the NESC Lawrence team. The duties are as follows;

Duties:

• Provide account services to members by receiving deposits and loan payments; cashing checks; issuing savings withdrawals; selling cashier's checks; answering questions in person or on the telephone; referring to other bank services.
• Cross-sell credit union products by answering inquiries; informing members of new services and product promotions; ascertaining members' needs and offering appropriate products.
• Reconciles cash drawer daily by proving cash transactions; reconciling loan coupons and other transactions; maintaining supply of cash and currency.
• Maintain member confidence and protect credit union operations by keeping information confidential and presenting a professional demeanor at all times.

Skills/Qualifications:

Prior customer service experience, detail oriented, general math ability, effective verbal communication skills, along with a high degree of integrity and the ability to work independently and as part of a team. Bilingual skills a plus (Spanish/English).

The schedule available is part-time (20-25 hours/week) and will include Saturday mornings (8:15AM-12:45PM)
