Telemetry Technician

Job Summary
Cardiology Clinic who offers complete cardiac care, including remote management of arrhythmias.
We are seeking a skilled and caring Cardiovascular Telemetry Technician to join our team. In this role, you will oversee cardiac monitoring of the patients enrolled in our clinic system, by maintaining operation of the central monitoring station and monitoring software systems.
This includes setting up Holter and home telemetry devices, accessing loop recorders and pacemaker information, monitoring them remotely and reviewing and/or creating reports for clinical use of the cardiologists, filling in the EMR system and generating billable entries in the system.
Telemetry technicians are tasked with preparing, reviewing, and interpreting telemetry waveform data from remote monitoring of our integrated system.
The ideal candidate should be dedicated to providing the best possible patient care.
Responsibilities

• Monitor and set up monitor devices for patients
• Conduct a variety of analysis for the monitoring systems used in the cardiology clinic
• Use database software to document patient information
• Consult with other peers regarding best patient care in each case

Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in a related field
• Completion of a Telemetry Technician program
• Able to meet the physical and intellectual demands of the job, including small portion of administrative role.
