For over 35 years, Yorktel has been the video managed services partner around the world for some of the largest business and government agencies. With over 10,000 video systems under management worldwide – more than any other video communications service provider – Yorktel has the proven expertise and global reach to deliver enterprise-quality visual communications.

Yorktel is currently seeking a TeleHealth Production Tech who is responsible for assembly, testing, and packaging of Yorktel’s TeleHealth products, built in our Wilmington MA facility. The ideal candidate will have familiarity with assembly processes, and at a minimum a base level understanding of electronics and electronic components.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • This position will work with the TeleHealth Production Team, as well as project managers, logistics and development teams, to plan and deliver product on schedule.
  • Participate in a production line, ensuring material, personnel, and documentation are all aligned to guarantee proper assembly, testing and shipment of systems.
  • Validation of equipment and materials to ensure conformity of product
  • Ensuring all production documentation is followed, maintained, and updated as needed.
  • Experience with production / assembly of electronics and electronic components.
  • Ability to perform cable dressing inside of racks or enclosures.
  • Ensuring the equipment systems are built, connected and tested to Yorktel drawings and current Yorktel production standards, which may meet or exceed industry standards.
  • Assist in the quality testing of equipment prior to dispatch to the field.
  • Ability to follow detailed instructions.
  • Ability to follow instructions / checklists in a digital format
  • Ability to work with others or independently, while maintaining a professional manner within a stressful and fast paced environment
  • Ability to work with all levels of management and employees
  • Ability to participate and work well in a team environment
  • Working knowledge of York Telecom policies and procedures.
  • Experience in production of electrical devices
  • Use of business computer systems including Microsoft Office applications such as MS Word, Excel, Outlook and MS Project, as well as the ability to quickly learn new platforms and apps, including those that are mobile based.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills
  • Willingness to learn and progress.
  • Self-motivated with strong initiative
  • All other duties as assigned.

Required Skills/Abilities:

  • Strong leadership and analytical skills
  • High level of initiative and autonomy
  • Excellent written/verbal communication skills to effectively communicate at all levels with clients and Yorktel
  • Ability to develop business relationships to accomplish organizational goals
  • Strong program management knowledge and experience, including group facilitation and team building skills
  • Valid U.S. driver’s license
  • Must be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contracts

Education and Experience:

  • Prior experience in the integration of audiovisual, video conferencing and closely related technologies preferred.
  • Self-starter, self-sufficient and self-motivated with the ability to maximize efforts daily without supervision.
  • Ability to perform tasks which may require lifting 40lbs or working in construction environment with ladders and machinery operating.

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift and carry objects up to 50 lbs.
  • Frequent sitting, standing, and walking
  • Limited weekend and/or night work may be required
  • Must be able to pass suitability requirements
  • Must be willing to complete background checks and drug tests as required by current or future contracts
