- One year of experience with wide and local area networks including experience with common-carrier data network.
- Associate degree in Computer Science, Data Networking, Engineering, or a closely related field
- A combination of post-secondary education and/or job-related experience may substitute for the minimum qualifications on a year-for-year basis
- Experience utilizing network management tools such as Solar Winds and Cisco Catalyst Center
- CCNA certification
- Assists in the technical support, problem resolution, planning, and managing of the converged data/voice network that includes wired and wireless technologies.
- Interacts with customers as the primary point of contact for the network operations team.
- Prioritizes, triages, and assigns tickets that have been routed to the network operations team for resolution.
- Participates in the Return Material Authorization (RMA) of network equipment.
- implements automated scripts, workflows, and processes for network configuration, monitoring, and management.
- Collaborates with network engineers and IT teams to identify automation opportunities and streamline network operations.
- Monitors network automation systems and tools, troubleshoot issues, and ensure smooth operation of automated processes.
- Updates automation workflows, procedures, and best practices for knowledge sharing and training purposes.
- Participates in network infrastructure projects, providing automation expertise and support as needed.
