CompTech is seeking a Telecommunications Network Engineer in support of our customer The Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). DLA is an agency of the Department of Defense and the DLA Information Operations, Enterprise Infrastructure Services (EIS), Network & Telecommunications Services (NTS), and Local Area Network Branch (NTS-LAN) and is located enterprise wide at multiple DLA locations. The Telecommunications Network Engineer will support wired and wireless LAN functions by providing skills and expertise in telecom engineering and operational support of current and new technologies to the Local Area Network (LAN).
Minimum Qualifications:
- Experience in telecommunications network design and management
- Experience in analysis and design of voice networks, LAN and WAN data networks, wireless networks, and/or network management systems to support voice and data services
- Must have two (2) years network operations experience. Higher level education or military service can be used in lieu of 2 years network operations experience
Certification Requirements
- IA Level: IAT-II One of the following: CCNA Security, CySA+, GICSP, GSEC, Security+ CE, CND, SSCP, CASP+ CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP (or Associate), GCED, GCIH
- and one of the following: CCSE NGX, CCNA, CCNP, CCSP, SCNA, CCSE NGX Plus NG with AI, CCMSE NG with AI, CSMSE NG with AI Plus VSX, NSA, ESE
Security Clearance Requirement
- Top Secret
