Summary of Job Function
The primary role is to support and maintain BH's internal users and infrastructure.
Provide application, Telecom, network, operating system and hardware support to end-users on a variety of issues; responds to telephone calls, email and personal requests for technical support.
Documents, tracks and monitors issues to ensure timely resolution.
Moves, Adds and Changes associated with the Voice Data infrastructure.
Job Qualifications Education Training Certification
Bachelor s degree preferred.
Certification or equivalent may be substituted for a BA degree.
Experience in health care field helpful, but not required.
Industry certifications Preferred
Basic Telecommunications knowledge with experience in Rightfax, Vocera and other Telecom Applications.
Job-Specific Requirements of Position
Assists employees with technical problems and requests through troubleshooting, resolution and escalation if required.
Maintain Telecom Data Applications as a System Admin working with Server Support to maintain monthly patching and supporting vendor upgrades.
Responsible for all aspects of the security and health of our network and hardware including but not limited to: antivirus protection,
patch management, data encryption, etc.
Manages helpdesk requests.
Asset management of Telecom related devices.
User administration of Telecom Systems.
Assists department manager in on-going assessment and upgrading of PCs, may research and evaluate hardware and software.
Keeps informed of most recent trends and technologies.
Contribute to and help maintain up-to-date technical, policy and procedure documentation.
Perform training to staff and customers on telecom technology topics, including hardware configurations, process, database maintenance and applications.
Provide customer-focused, quality service.
Participating in Architecture Assessments.
