Responsibilities:
- Installing and removal of phones, headsets, telecom equipment, and fax machines.
- Provided phone and softphone training to end users.
- Resources will provide support before and after our dial plan migrations to 7 digit dialing.
- Train employees on how to use the new dial plan effectively.
- Provide documentation and resources to help users understand the dialing rules and call handling features.
- High School Diploma Required.
- Resource level, skills, and knowledge to perform more advanced work following SLA's.
- t least 1 year of experience working as a VoIP technician.
- In-depth knowledge of VoIP systems and IP Protocols.
- Knowledge of hardware endpoints.
- Network layer 1 and punch down terminations on 110 block/patch panels.
- Time management skills.
- Familiarity with remote support.
- Excellent troubleshooting skills.
- dvanced written and verbal communication skills.
- May require repetitive bending, squatting, walking.
