Coordinate activities for Route 87 Teen Center with established priorities, time limitations, funding limitations or other specifications. Oversees, manages, and performs a variety of tasks associated with the day-to-day operations of the Teen Center including administrative and professional work in the development, organizing and support of program operations. The position will require prosocial engagement with youth of high school age.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
TIME SPENT
- Coordinates and hosts activities and events such as teen nights, karaoke, dances, eSports events, and activities related to other local community activities, etc.
- Maintains social media presence regarding Teen Center activities using up to date media platform and provides prosocial media presence.
- Recruits and grows teen enrollment though direct recruitment in schools.
- Develops and maintains relationships with businesses who wish to become partners to offer teens unique opportunities.
- Builds/Maintains relationships with parents, community leaders, and organizations that support the Center and youth.
- Develops, compiles, and writes communications and promotional literature for distribution such as newsletters, brochures, or flyers; coordinates process from development through printing and distribution.

- Maintains well organized files and documentation related to participant eligibility and financial accountability.
- Encourages parent and community involvement. Connects parents and members with appropriate school and community resources.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED
High School Diploma or GED.
MINIMUM YEARS OF DIRECTLY RELATED EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Two (2) years directly related experience; or equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
PROFESSIONAL CREDENTIALS REQUIRED
Must possess and maintain a valid Driver's License.
KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED

PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Routinely stands to attend to customers; constantly sits to operate computers.
- Regularly lifts work related materials up to 10 lbs. in weight; occasionally lifts up to 50 lbs.
- Routinely requires dexterity and hand/eye coordination for use of keyboards and special gadgets.
- Incumbents in this position may be required to kneel, twist, bend.
WORK ENVIRONMENT
Incumbents in this position regularly spends time in office environments, computer laboratory, library, or other public access areas and are routinely subject to noise.
SAFETY RISK EXPOSURE
Incumbents in this position are generally not exposed to safety risks. On rare occassions, incumbents in this position may become exposed to youth with emotional distress.

Incumbents in this position are required to constantly follow written safety procedures and manuals relevant to the division or department.

SPECIFIC EMPLOYMENT CONDITIONS
Incumbents in this position must have an unrestricted Driver's License upon appointment, must be a US citizen and 21 years of age.
