Exciting opportunity to join Riverside Community Care as a Technology Support Specialist!
The Technology Support Specialist I provides technical support of desktop/laptop computers desktop applications, peripherals and related technologies. This position serves as the first point of contact for all end user desktop issues.
This position works under the direct supervisor of the Help Desk Manager and resolves technical desktop issues both independently and working with other IT resources. Works with other members of the help desk and system administration staff to resolve problems from end users.
The Technology Support Specialist I will:
- Serve as the first point of contact for all end user desktop/laptop application and support issues
- Provide end user support by entering desktop/laptop hardware and software, network, and telephone issues into IT's HelpDesk Application
- Provide support to all Riverside offices and personnel
- Monitor help line, resolve user issues via telephone, remote access and onsite support
- Drive to program sites as needed
- Maintain hardware inventory, including repairing and re-imaging laptops and desktop PCs
Schedule: Monday-Friday 9am to 5pm

Required Skills
Advanced knowledge of:
- Common concepts, practices, and procedures within Data Center operations
- Basic Information Security concepts and practices
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 including Teams, OneDrive, Sharepoint and other productivity applications
Required Experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s degree preferred
- Minimum 1-3 years experience in the Information Technology Support field, including Helpdesk Support and/or LAN Support, required
- Experience using the most recent Microsoft Windows operating systems required
- Experience setting up and troubleshooting file sharing end user issues required
- Basic understanding of networking technologies, including TCP/IP, SMTP, Telnet, VLAN’s, and WAN technologies required
- Valid driver’s license and regular access to a reliable vehicle is required to travel to Riverside sites
