Position Specific Description
Functional Responsibilities Include:
•New complex technology in replacing an existing system (TCMS) to a new product (ADMS) and managing multiple priorities at the same time
•Have strong technical skills to be able to manage the technical aspects of a project
•Strong project management/Agile skills to manage the work with Technical Leaders, Developers, Agile Leaders and Business Analysts.
•Good budget acumen - manage a multi-million dollar monthly forecasts/actuals
•Able to coach and motivate employees to do their best work
•Strong executive communication (written and oral) and organizational skills
•Able to have onsite at Jupiter West location at least 4X per week
Technical Experience Preferred:
•Demonstrated experience with Enterprise class software development for n-tier platforms both cloud-based and on premise
•Proven and recognized technical expert in multiple areas including development of strategy for commercial application delivery,high-volume transaction/event processing systems, DBMS (Relational and NoSQL), Service Oriented Architecture (SOA), application development with traditional, mobile, and web technologies (Cloud and on premise)
•Commercial RDBMS such as Oracle, MS SQL, MySQL, and AWS
•Commercial NoSQL such as Hadoop, MongoDB, Cassandra, and AWS
•Docker/microservices/Web Services, EAI, Cloud Computing, PaaS, and Analytics/ Reporting on Mobile devices (Windows, iOS & Android)
•LAMP stack - Linux, Apache, MySQL, Perl/PHP/Python, other open source, and Statistical Platforms such as R, SAS
•Current understanding of the electric utility business direction, with an end-to-end view of business and technology
