The Position:
Were looking for a Technology Innovation and Improvement Management (TIIM) Advisor to serve as the primary subject matter expert related to innovation, next generation technical assistance, and network connections. Job responsibilities include:
- Collaborating with client teams to identify and implement innovative interventions that optimize performance and progress the organizations mission.
- Providing oversight to client projects, including the development of project proposals, the managing of 3rd party strategic-related service providers, and the achievement of project milestones, scope, and budget.
- Assisting the CONNSTEP Leadership team in developing our business strategy, defining impact and outcomes, aligning programs with strategy, and participating in comprehensive business planning; facilitate in-house planning that ensures implementation of key goals; facilitate planning processes for teams, both employee and 3rd party providers, as requested.
- Forging strategic partnerships with NIST and other stakeholders by bringing CONNSTEP and R&D centers together, supporting workforce and supplier development programs as well as identifying projects to assist with the NIST platform.
About You:
- You have a Bachelors degree or higher and a minimum of eight years of successful experience implementing strategic business principles in a consulting, service provider, or manufacturing setting. Experience with small and larger firms in multiple industries is preferred. Some years of this experience can be replaced by academic experience.
- You have a proven track record of successfully leading change initiatives including experience implementing Lean and Six Sigma from concept to full implementation
- You have a high-level interpersonal communication skills and the ability to take a leadership role in a team-based setting. Personal solid impact, high-stress tolerance, analytical, market/selling, counseling, and coaching, confrontation, behavior modeling, overcoming resistance and conflict management skills, a plus. Strong project management skills and the ability to independently lead client-based automation projects.
