Job Summary:

Serves as the integrator between the simulation environment and the medical educator to ensure the smooth function of CESI operations. Performs system troubleshooting and preventative maintenance so that all equipment is in proper working order. This includes maintaining, fixing, storing and upgrading of equipment and technology in CESI. Ensures that CESI simulation rooms are fully stocked and operational.

 

 

Job Responsibilities:

·        Works with medical educators to ensure that all program needs are met.

·        Performs the roles of simulation room and equipment setup, operation of the simulators and support of all CESI customer and class needs.

·        Performs system troubleshooting and preventative maintenance to ensure all equipment is in working order.

·        May be asked to participate as a live actor for scenarios.

·        Responsible to anticipate supplies and equipment needs, as well as maintain and stock inventory.  

·        Works effectively as a team member within the departments and with other internal and external customers to provide quality service through excellent communication, cooperation and collaboration skills.

 

Qualifications

·        Associates degree in science field, education, public administration, management, or related field preferred. 

·        Proficient in Microsoft Office, Access, Excel, PowerPoint and Word.

·        Basic medical terminology is preferred in order to effectively communicate and work with the medical content expert/educator.

·        Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to interface with both educators and learners.

·        Ability to work independently and as a team member.

·        Strong critical thinking, creative problem solving, and stakeholder management skills.

·        Detailed oriented with the ability to follow protocols.
