We are currently searching for a Technology Education Coordinatorto join our Pittsburgh, PA office. This position is responsible for identifying, producing and providing appropriate technology training and materials to the Firm. This includes maintaining and improving upon existing training offerings, as well as, identifying and addressing new training opportunities and gaps in current trainings. This individual also leads the delivery and support of training initiatives leveraging a variety of methods including in-person classroom instruction, one-on-one coaching sessions, remote training, and creation of self-directed electronic learning.
In this position, you will seek to:
- Collaborate with various departments to Identify strategic areas of focus for technology training initiatives with an overall goal of promoting the Firm's commitment to providing exceptional client value via continual process improvement and technology proficiency.
- Create high quality training content including Learner Guides, Quick Reference Guides, eLessons and QuickClips.
- Act as a technology and change liaison on behalf of the IT department to gather training suggestions, feedback and other information that aid the department in providing world-class customer service, learning and support.
- Conduct in-person and remote training classes. Coordinate with HR department to track attendance and training related statistics in the Firm's learning management system.
- Participate on projects as a learning and transformation subject matter expert, assisting with the creation of strategies and deliverables to effectively prepare Firm attorneys and staff for new or changing technology deployments.
Successful candidates will have:
- A strong background in and understanding of Microsoft Office 365 Suite and Windows 10.
- The ability to carry out training, application and documentation maintenance and proactive/reactive support duties with minimal supervision.
- Flexibility to work after hours or on weekends, as required, and the ability to travel up to 25% for various training needs such as rollout for new applications, new groups of Firm personnel, specific Section or Department requests, etc.
- A Bachelors degree in an IT related field.
- 5+ years of experience in IT, preferably in a law firm or corporate environment and experience in a training or educational role. Customer service experience preferred, but not necessary.
