Heights Libraries has an opening for a part-time Technology Associate in our new Maker Space and Technology Classroom in the Noble Neighborhood Branch. In this position, you will be assisting customers in person and over the phone with computer/technology-related questions; and assisting customers with maker space tools for cooking, crafting, music, home repair, and other equipment.
- High school diploma or equivalent combination of education and/or experience.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer services skills required with the ability to interact effectively with all customer age groups.
- Must be patient and adaptable to working with customers of varying degrees of computer and office equipment skill and knowledge.
- Ability to provide customer support with technology and software applications.
- Must be comfortable working in an environment where you will be moving from task to task.
- Physical requirements include the ability to stand, sit, bend, and push.
- Technology Associates will be expected to work a schedule of 20 hours per week including weekdays, evenings, and weekends.
Knowledge Requirements
- Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
- Windows and Mac operating systems
- Experience with multi-media equipment and software (preferred)

Salary & Benefits
Starting salary is $17.75 per hour. Ohio Public Employees Retirement System; paid vacation, sick time, 10 paid holidays, and paid parental leave.
