We're seeking a Trade Service Operations Database employee who will be responsible for: (a) manage administrative static data, and workflow priorities; (b) ensure the Section(s) satisfactorily fulfill their daily processing requirements in Trade 360 System; (c) provide an environment which allows staff members to develop and contribute toward the accomplishment of the section and department's goals; (d) identify and resolve operational problems which prevent the section from achieving its planned objectives; (e) manage high number of customer database and (f) SBLC Fee Billing reviews and accounts reconciliation to support all customers.
Responsibilities:
- Handle simultaneous requests, including on-boarding new customers, performing modifications and updates.
- Improve and streamline the on-boarding process, Standby Letters of Credit fees collection (billing and receivable reconciliation) and End of Day Reconciliation.
- Verify the accuracy of information provided in the workflow request.
- Present complex issues in a simple and straightforward manner to internal clients.
- Handle the consolidation of customers to ensure bank exposures are denoted accurately.
- Project participation
- Work with business users in the design and analysis phase to ensure coverage and quality for customer data.
- Participate in system testing, developing test scripts, and coordinating testing activities.
Reporting/Reconciliation
- Support existing department reports for daily, weekly, and monthly processes.
- Build ad-hoc reports on customer data for various departments.
- Maintain and ensure compliance with department procedures and bank policies.
- Maintain data accuracy by reconciling data comparison reports.
- Investigate and resolve inaccuracies between applications relating to customer credit ratings.
- Offer and implement suggestions to improve the accuracy and efficiency of Bank processes.
Requirements:
-2 years' experience in client on-boarding at a financial institution with products (i.e. trade finance)
- Knowledge of KYC/AML policy
- Understanding of operations, business activities, and compliance/risk issues
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail
- Strong time management, prioritization, organization, and multi-tasking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and end user tools, such as MS Excel.
The typical base range for this role is between $80K and 95K per year depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience and location. This role may also be eligible for certain discretionary performance-based bonus and/or incentive compensation.
