Job Overview
Perform tasks and duties related to the shipping and receiving of customer parts and consumable materials. The successful candidate will ensure safety and housekeeping procedures are followed and met.
Requirements
- Provides outstanding customer service to internal and external customers by maintaining attention to detail and completing assigned work in a timely manner
- Will interact with shipping companies, purchasing, customer service and management
- Directs non-standard issues and customer inquiries to senior shipping/receiving personnel
- Follows Praxair safety procedures and encourages others to do the same
- Safely operates forklift or other machinery to load, unload, sort, stage and transport product
- Receives customer orders by processing deliveries.
- Maintains a clean work environment (shipping & receiving dock) by keeping area free of trash and product in correct locations.
- Prepare customer parts for shipping and completes Invoicing of work orders.
- Input material usage tickets.
- Maintain Min/Max numbers
- Other duties as assigned
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Must be able to read, comprehend and understand work instructions as well as technical specifications
- Must be able to add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure
- Must be able to operate fork truck, electric hoist and overhead crane.
- Capable of lifting to 40lbs
- Frequent standing, walking, bending, reaching, hand and finger manipulation, occasional stooping, crouching, and climbing
