Reputable Global Non-Profit organization is seeking for aTechnical Writer to work closely with Procurement Director. 100% Remote opportunity / 4-5 Month Contract.
Technical Writer Responsibilities:
- Responsible for assisting Procurement Director with creation of Policies/Procedures for the organization.
- Collect and interpret technical data and coordinate layout of final document.
- Able to work on assigned projects with minimal supervision.
- Determine the clearest and most logical way to present information for greatest reader comprehension.
- Generate innovative ideas for content and workflow solutions.
- Meet with subject-matter experts to ensure specialized topics are appropriately addressed.
- Analyze information required for the development or update of policy, procedure and form documentation.
- Review and/or copyedit content developed by other members of the team.
Qualifications and Competencies:
- Three+ year experience as a Technical Writer is required.
- Excellent written and spoken communication skills.
- Practical experience and strong facility with Microsoft Office applications and design/presentation, and/or database applications.
- Supreme attention to detail, able to manage multiple tasks simultaneously, highly organized, and prioritize work effectively.
- PeopleSoft experience a Plus
