Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities
- Determines the needs of users of technical documentation
- Partners with subject matter experts (SMEs) to document internal workflows and SOPs
- Shadows associates and accurately captures steps and methods use to complete processes and/or procedures
- Partners with Manager, Quality to create, maintain, and publish Job Guides for local roles related to leasing and/or property management
- Provides input on complexity of SOPs to help determine method of delivery
- Writes complex and technical information in a way that is formal yet easily understood and followed
- Collects associate feedback to update and continuously improve internal and/or external content
- Creates, reviews, and/or edits content for the organization's knowledge management system (KMS)
- Creates, reviews, and/or edits email templates for communication between internal associates and customers
- Partners with Marketing to create effective FAQs and/or content that maximizes self-service
- Reviews and proposes edits for policy changes initiated by National LPM leadership
- Develops, gathers, and disseminates changes in policy that affect Operations
- Drafts and/or edits communications to be sent on behalf of the National LPM department
- Maintains awareness of ongoing expectations and adapts quickly to change
- Performs other duties as assigned
Education and/or Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent
- Minimum two (3) years' experience in writing institutional policies, processes, and/or procedures
- Experience in leasing, property management, real estate, or equivalent strongly preferred
- Experience with Yardi Voyager and/or Salesforce preferred
Required Licenses or Certifications

Skills/Specialized Knowledge
- Extensive experience with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel
- Strong command of grammar and ability to communicate effectively with clear and concise language
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Keen understanding of flow charts and formal procedural guides
- Works well under pressure and maintains a professional demeanor
Other Requirements
- English language proficiency must be equivalent to CEFR C1 or C2
- Able to multitask and easily follow steps involving multiple applications
- Comprehension of federal fair housing laws and any applicable local housing provisions
- Must maintain professional appearance
- Must be proactive, self-directed, and self-motivated
- Works on a regular and consistent basis; overtime may be required occasionally
Physical and Mental Demands
This position will involve long hours sitting and using office equipment and computers. The position may also entail light lifting of supplies and materials occasionally, up to and including 20 pounds in addition to reaching, stooping, standing, and walking. This position requires the ability to talk, hear, compare, compute, compile, copy, analyze, coordinate, synthesize, negotiate, and communicate. Work Environment
This is a hybrid role. Being in the office at least two days per week may be required. The standard office environment may be busy and noisy at times.
Salary Range
$46,050.00 - $79,820.00Compensation and Benefits
