Sandata seeks a Customer Experience Technical Writer to develop and execute a customer-focused technical writing strategy that achieves Sandata's business goals and objectives. This role will develop creative solutions on how to engage Sandata's audience through technical content. It will be the Technical Writer's duty to ensure content is informative, engaging, adds value, and is on-brand. Effectiveness is measured through KPIs such as website traffic, email campaign performance, and trends in customer support tickets.
This is a remote position that can be located anywhere in the United States.
What you will do:
- Work with team members in engineering, product, implementation, success, and support to collect technical documentation as source materials.
- Understand customer nuances, challenges, and how best to communicate important program information to them.
- Work closely with team members to establish and articulate internal and external key messages, and ensure that content is aligned accordingly.
- Develop technical documentation strategies for traditional and digital channels including goals, milestones, and evaluation methods.
- Write both customer-facing and internal technical materials with accuracy and ensuring they are informative, engaging, and valuable.
- Monitor effectiveness of published technical communications to ensure effectiveness and continual improvement.
- Ensure security of personal health information (PHI) and report any violations or observations to management.
- Ensure content is consistently on-brand and meeting the needs of customers evolving needs.
What you bring:
- Bachelor's degree in technical writing, English, communications, or a technical field with emphasis on technical writing.
- 3-5 years of experience in technical writing including focus on customer experience and how to optimize it through communication.
- Experience in the healthcare industry and/or healthcare technology.
- Experience in inter-departmental collaboration and communication in a virtual environment
- Ability to manage multiple projects/timelines and scaling processes as needed.
- Experience navigating complex organizations, and a high level of comfort with fast-paced environments that involve a degree of ambiguity.
