Technical Support Tech I - Johnstown, Oh

New Journey, a Genesis10 company, is actively seeking a resource for a 3-month contract position with potential extension or conversion. This position will work onsite in Johnstown, OH.
For this position, you will be working in a data center and tasked with maintaining the hardware infrastructure of the latest cloud computing server technologies. The ideal candidate will be able to quickly and accurately resolve issues with server and network hardware through root cause analysis with a solid understanding of computers, servers, network devices and command-line diagnostics.
Responsibilities:

• Receiving racks from trucks daily
• Unloading, and pushing racks into data hall.
• Not a lot of technical work is required for this job.
• There will be a great amount of physical movement and cable routing.
• Support a large incoming forecast demand of 500+ server racks monthly, cluster wide. Each rack has its own SLA to be cabled in which the contractor will be evaluated on.

Basic Qualifications:

• 6+ months cabling experience
• 1+ years of Computer Hardware experience.
• 1+ years of Computer Networking experience.
• 1+ years of Linux Operating Systems experience.
• Able to lift up to 50lbs and or work in elevated locations
• Only candidates available and ready to work directly as NJAI/Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.

Compensation: $27.00 per hour
